Current version of maven taglib plugin do not support facelets taglib's. Maybe is any chance for integration with this ood extension > http://repo.edorasframework.org/mvn/maven2-sites/tools/org.edorasframework.tools.maven.taglibdoc/1.0.18/org.edorasframework.tools.maven.taglibdoc/plugin-info.html it can parse facelets taglib and create correct tld (like maven taglib do for jsp files). It use annotation's for some definitions not accessible in standard facelet tld file.
